In the current and upcoming seasons, Andrei Danilov will appear as Il Duca in Rigoletto, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Pietro in Il Teorema di Pasolini, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Paolo in Francesca da Rimini and Young gipsy in Aleko in a concert with BRSO, return to Deutsche Oper am Rhein as Iwein Löwenritter and Tebaldo I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Il Duca Rigoletto with Hungarian State Opera.
As an ensemble member at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, he is singing the roles of Alfredo in La Traviata, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Il Duca in Rigoletto, the tenor part in Verdi Requiem, Rinuccio in Gianni Shcicchi, next to his stage debuts with the role of Duca in Rigoletto at State Opera Berlin, as Rodolfo in La Boheme at Opera Graz, and Faust in Gounod’s masterpiece at the stage of Wroclaw Opera, he appeared as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Rodolfo in La Boheme and Il Duca in Rigoletto at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, at Opera de Lyon as Fisherman in The Nightingale, as Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore with the Staatstheater Cottbus, Alfredo in La Traviata at the Umberto Giordano Theater Foggia (Italy), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni on the stage of Teatro Verdi in Padova, and appearances in Bern, Basel, Zurich, Sigriswil in collaboration with the Opern Werkstatt Festival, Switzerland.
His notable past engagements include a concert performance of Smetana’s Prodaná nevěsta for the Novaya Opera Theatre, Moscow, Il Duca in Rigoletto for Irkutsk Music Theatre, Almeric in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.
Andrei Danilov joined Irkutsk Musical Theater in 2011, where he could be seen in various roles in the operetta and musical productions, his operatic repertoire there included Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La Traviata among others.
Andrei won several competitions: Grand Prix Jose Carreras, 55th IVC Hertogenbosch, 5th Ewa Marton International Singing Competition.
