Grammy-winning soprano Audrey Luna will soon debut at La Scala in Milan in the role of Ariel in Thomas Adès' The Tempest and at the Teatre Real in Madrid in the role of Madame Mao in Nixon in China ( Nixon in China) by John Adams. He will also perform the Catulli Carmina (Songs of Catullus) and the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff accompanied by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and under the baton of Fabio Luisi. In addition, she will cover Ophelia in Brett Dean's Hamlet at the Metropolitan Opera House and play the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) in Barrie Kosky's production at Des Moines Metro Opera.

Luna has recently given recitals with the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, among others. His recital repertoire includes Brahms' Requiem , Orff 's Carmina Burana , Handel's Messiah , Unsuk Chin's Cantatrix Sopranica , Makris' Symphony for Soprano and Strings , Vivaldi's Gloria , Requiem and Le Ligeti's grand macabre , George Crumb's Star-child , Amy Beach's Great Mass and Debussy's Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian .
His collaboration with the composer Peter Eötvös and the Calder Quartet in his new work, The sirens cycle (Les sirenes), has toured Europe (Zurich, Frankfurt, Madrid and Paris) and is available on BMC Records.
