Recently awarded the 3rd Prize and the ARTE Prize at La Maestra 2022 Conducting Competition organized by the Philarmonie de Paris, Beatriz Fernández has been praised for her control and attention to detail, her wide and expressive gesture and her accurate interpretations.

Recent appearances include performances with the Mozart Orchestra of Paris, Valencia Orchestra, Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra, Valencian Community Orchestra, Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, Extremadura Orchestra, Navarra Symphony Orchestra, ADDA Symphony, BOS Orchestra Bilbao Symphony, Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, among others.

Future commitments include appointments with the RTVE Orchestra, Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra, OBC Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, Malaga Symphony Orchestra, OCG City of Granada Orchestra, ONE National Orchestra of Spain and in countries like Holland, Mexico or France.

She has also worked with the most prestigious music bands in the Valencian Community, Municipal of Madrid, Municipal of Palma de Mallorca, Municipal of Valencia, Municipal of Castellón, Municipal of Santiago de Compostela, holding the position of deputy director for two seasons of the Barcelona Symphony Band.

She studied with Conductors Joshard Daus at the University of Mainz, with Peter Gülke at the Mozarteum University and with Michel Tabachnik at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana. She also completed a postgraduate course in contemporary repertoire with Arturo Tamayo at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.

Beatriz has also participated in the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy and the Aix-en-Provence Festival Academy.

She is currently a member of "La Maestra Adademy" of the Philharmonie de Paris where her training and professional experience is constant and fruitful, receiving masterclasses and assisting internationally renowned conductors such as François-Xavier Roth, Kirill Karabatis or Case Scaglione, among others. She is Musical and Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia.

In the last years, she attended and worked with the prestigious Masters Juanjo Mena and the Mexican Alondra de la Parra.
