The Strad described his last recital at London's Wigmore Hall as "remarkable, a true sense of intuitive live performance".

Lana Trotovsek and Maria Canyigueral began their collaboration in 2014 with a recording project that includes the Sonata by Enric Granados, the Sonata by C. Franck and works by M. L. Skerjanc and G. Finzi. The Global Music Award of California awarded this first disc with the gold medal in 2017. Since then, they have given recitals as a duo in the UK, Japan, Belgium, Spain, Slovenia and France.

The duo recently released their live recording of the complete ten Beethoven Violin and Piano Sonatas that they performed at the 2020 Ljubljana Festival, in three consecutive recitals. Four compact discs that have been recorded under the label of Radio and Television of Slovenia, in co-production with the Ljubljana Festival.

They are currently recording a double CD of Prokofiev's work for violin and piano to be released this year with the British label Somm Recordings.
