The folkloric group Es Xacoters de sa Torre is one of the oldest in Ibiza in the interpretation of typical country dance, as well as songs, both glossed and redoubled. Its activity includes the interpretation of Christmas and Easter Caramelles, a centuries-old tradition of redoubled singing, reserved for the liturgy.

Vicent Bufí, a carameller of the Xacoters de sa Torre with more than seventy years of experience interpreting Caramelles de Pasqua and one of the last exponents of this almost lost tradition, has helped his son and nephew to take over from him. To this day, they have been singing them for more than thirty-two years.

Thanks to the collaboration of the current components, it is possible to guarantee the survival of this centenary tradition declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2011.
