Orchestra conductor and composer trained at the Escolania de Montserrat, Conservatori de Barcelona, and graduated from the Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel (Composition) and the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Orchestra Conducting).

He regularly works with the Sinfonieorchester Basel, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, ensemble BCN216, Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra, and the Ö! Ensemble für Neue Musik, of which he is the principal associate conductor. Currently, he is the artistic director of the Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca and the GIO Symphonia.

He has also worked with the Essener Philharmoniker, Collegium Vocale Gent, Nederlands Kammerorkest, Real Filharmonía de Galicia, and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, among others. He has participated in diverse festivals and cultural events such as the Lucerne Festival, Berlinale, ARTBasel contemporary art fair, Tuns Contemporans, and Sónar Barcelona. In the 2020-2021 season, he made his debut at Theater Basel conducting “The Magic Flute.”

He has served as assistant to the musical direction of Maestro Ivor Bolton at the Teatro Real in Madrid (2014-2019) and Maestro Josep Pons at the Gran Teatre del Liceu (2013-2016).

As a composer, his works have been premiered in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Poland. He premiered his first opera in Basel in 2012. Recently, he premiered the monodrama “Cállate” at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
