Gnawa Vibrations is a Gnawa music group created and led by maalem (master) Saimen Kherbouch, who performs a traditional repertoire while embracing fusions with European music and styles. Saimen, a musician and writer, learned to play, sing, and craft traditional instruments with various masters from Casablanca, Essaouira, Marrakech and the Merzouga Desert, where he is from.

The Barcelona-based band is made up of musicians from both southern and northern Morocco, which gives them the skill and ability to perform traditional songs from both regions.
