Jair Domínguez i Torregrosa (Barcelona, 1980) is a journalist, scriptwriter, and writer. Currently, he collaborates on the satirical news program “Està Passant” on TV3, directed by Toni Soler, which premiered on September 13, 2017, and he is the presenter of the radio program “El búnker” on Catalunya Ràdio.
As a scriptwriter, he has written for shows such as “52” (Ondas Award 2005), “El Rosari de l’Aurora,” “Buenafuente,” “Polònia,” “Crackòvia,” “Minoria absoluta,” and “La segona hora,” among others. He has also worked on scripts for film and advertising and is one of the co-authors of the song “Baila el Chiki Chiki,” with which Rodolfo Chikilicuatre represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. In his literary side, he is the author of the book of short stories “Jesucrist era marica,” the novel “Hawaii Meteor” (Tria Llibres, 2012), “99 coses que hem d’aniquilar si volem ser independents,” “Segui vora el foc,” “Perímetre,” “Estructures Profundes,” and “Allegro con Fuoco.” He was one of the members of the radio program “La segona hora” on RAC 1 and of the internet program “Bricoheroes,” a parody of DIY shows that he co-hosts with Peyu. Additionally, he occasionally writes opinion articles and reflections on various topics for AraGirona.cat and the mobile device magazine Esguard.
