Jordi Boixaderas i Trullàs (1959) is a theatre, film, television and dubbing actor, in Catalan and Spanish. In his early days, he was introduced to the world of performing arts by Francesc Ventura and the Aula de Teatro de la Academia de Bellas Artes with the production The Manchester of Catalonia and then at the Teatre Estable in his native Sabadell.
Since then, he appeared on numerous stages, as well as the small and the big screen. He has performed in the main Catalan theatres with directors such as Mario Gas, Sergi Belbel, Fabià Puigserver or Rosa Maria Sardà, in works by Josep Maria Benet i Jornet, Jordi Galceran or Narcís Comadira and classics such as Shakespeare, Beckett, Brecht and Molière, among others
His interpretation stands out in Othello (1994), Don Juan (2001), The Grönholm Method (2004), Death of a Salesman (2009) or The Misanthrope (2011). He has also been a character in well-known television series, such as Poblenou (1994), Laberint d'ombres (1998), El cor de la Ciutat (2002) or Ventdelplà (2005).
Since 1982, he acted as a voice actor in Catalan and Spanish for a long list of productions, and is the regular voice of actors such as Russell Crowe, Dwayne Johnson, Clive Owen, Sean Bean, Gerard Butler and Daniel Craig.
Since his professional beginnings, he has worked in documentary and advertising jobs, and more recently, he has recorded audiobooks for the publishing houses Penguin Random House and Planeta, and the Audible and Storytel platforms.
