Born in Monforte del Cid (Alicante), he studied at the conservatories of Alicante and Murcia, where he obtained higher degrees in clarinet and conducting with honors in both specialties. At the same time, he graduated in music education from the University of Alicante.

He has been principal conductor of the La Lira de Monforte del Cid Musical Band, the Santa Cecília de Castalla Musical Group, the Sant Vicent del Raspeig Symphony Orchestra, the Santiago de Compostela Municipal Band, the Palma de Mallorca Municipal Band and the Symphony of the Almoradí Musical Union. As a guest conductor, he has conducted the Lalín Band (Pontevedra), the Vitoria Municipal Band, the A Coruña Municipal Band, the Pontevedra Music Band, the Albacete Municipal Band, the Ciutat de Novelda Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia and the Cidade de Pontevedra Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2010, he became assistant director of the Barcelona Municipal Band for five seasons, with which he maintains a regular relationship. He has been a professor of Orchestral Conducting at the Manuel Massotti Littel Superior Conservatory of Music in Murcia. He has been part of the jury in performance and music composition competitions for band, and has been a visiting professor in wind and percussion orchestral meetings for conservatories, such as the Conservatori Superior de les Illes Balears or the Centro Superior de Estudios Musicales Musikene (Country Basque).

He currently combines his activity as a guest conductor with the artistic and technical ownership of the Municipal Band of A Coruña.
