Violinist Lana Trotovsek, described by the Washington Post as "radiant," made her debut with the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra under the baton of prestigious conductor Valery Gergiev in 2012. Later in 2014, she performed Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante along with Yuri Bashmet and Moscow Soloists. And in 2016, she was the soloist in Prokófiev's Concerto No. 1 accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Gianandrea Noseda.
In 2019, she played Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Rafael Payare and Mendelssoh's Violin Concerto with the RTS Symphony Orchestra at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre. In season 2016-2017 Lana performed Double Violin Concerto by Bach with Sergey Krylov and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra on several occasions including the Al Bustan Festival in Lebanon in 2018. In the summer of 2017, she toured with John Malkovich and I Solisti Aquilani, performing Bach's Violin Concerto in A minor at the Emilia Romagna, Ljubljana and Mittelfest festivals.
Trotovsek has played at Wigmore Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Frits Phillips in Eindhoven and in other important halls in Europe, China, the Arabian Peninsula and the United States. Her performances have been broadcast by BBC Radio 3, Arte TV (France) and RTV ZKP (Slovenia).
