The Swiss mezzo-soprano, trained in Freiburg and Leipzig, specializes in Baroque music. She has given master classes at the European Hanse-Ensemble (with Ulrike Hofbauer), Bachakademie Stuttgart (with Emma Kirkby, Kai Wessel, James Gilchrist, and Peter Kooij), and with Ton Koopman, Lia Serafini, and Claudine Ansermet. In the field of opera, her performances of Handelian roles stand out, as well as those of Alessandro Stradella, and, as a soloist, the St. John Passion and the “Donner Ode” by Telemann, “Ehre sei dir Gott gesungen” and several cantatas by Bach.

She has performed in venues such as Theater Freiburg, Theater Naumburg, Stiftskirche Stuttgart, Ludwigskirche Freiburg, and Heiliggeistkirche Heidelberg, with ensembles like the Vocalensemble of Bachstiftung St. Gallen, Tammurriata at the Innsbrucker Festtage Alter Musik, and the 54th Festival de Musique La Chaise-Dieu. She has collaborated with conductors such as Wolfgang Katschner, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Christoph Andreas Schäfer, Frank Markowitsch, Ton Koopman, and Jérémie Rhorer.
