Catalan singer, instrumentalist and composer from a family of musicians, she obtained the intermediate level of transverse flute and lyric singing at the Sabadell Municipal Conservatory. In 2017, she obtained the higher degree in jazz singing at the Conservatory of the Liceu. At the end of her studies, she was awarded the extraordinary prize of the Jazz Department.
Since 2012, she has been the soprano voice of Quartet Mèlt, a cappella voice quartet - known above all for having won the third edition of the TV show Oh Happy Day! in 2015 – with which she has toured throughout Catalonia and Europe. With this ensemble she has released two albums: Maletes and Xarrampim! During 2018, Magalí Sare presents her first album as a composer, Cançons d’amor i dimonis (self-published), and also becomes the voice of the songs of the pianist and composer Clara Peya, with whom she records the album Estómac (Satellite K).
She has two duets: one of them with the guitarist Sebastià Gris, with whom she won the first jazz prize in the Juventudes Musicales de España competition and the first prize in the Suns Europe international competition for music in minority languages held in Udine, Italy. They have released an EP titled Venim a aquest món and an album titled A boy & a girl (Microscope stamp).
The other duet is with double bassist Manel Fortià, with whom they fuse free-jazz and traditional music. Her first work is called Fang i núvols (Microscope stamp). In 2020, in addition, she publishes his first two singles: Chronos and Beure de tu, and voices Estrella Damm's famous summer ad Compromís.
In April 2022, she publishes her second album as a singer-songwriter Esponja, produced by Pau Brugada and herself with the special collaborations of Salvador Sobral and Las Migas. She presents it at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid, the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Strenes Festival and the Girona l'Auditori, among other places.
