Composer Magnus Lindberg is surely one of the most prominent and prestigious names in the Finnish musical landscape. Born in Helsinki in 1958, he studied electronic music at the Sibelius Academy together with Osmo Linderman and Einojuhani Rautavaara.

He is mainly a composer of orchestral works, in all their variants: large orchestra, chamber orchestra, wind orchestra, orchestra with soloist, orchestra with choir, etc. Among his works stand out titles such as Kraft, Kinetics, Marea, Parada, etc.
