Sinéad Campbell Wallace opened her 2023/24 season with a house and role debut at Opéra national de Paris as Elsa in Lohengrin with Piotr Beczala and Nina Stemme. She will have her role debuts as Salome with Irish National Opera, as Foreign Princess in Christof Loy’s critically acclaimed production of Rusalka at Palais des Arts in Valencia, as Gutrune with Vladimir Jurowski and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and as Leonore (Fidelio) at Opera Dijon.

Her 2022-23 season opened with a return to English National Opera in the title role Tosca for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award. Other season highlights include her house debuts at the Bayerische Staatsoper as Aufseherin in Elektra and at Canadian Opera as Tosca as well as concert performances of Chrysothemis in Elektra with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jonathan Nott.

She returned to Theater Regensburg as a guest in the 2019-20 season in the title role of Tosca. Other engagements that season included Leonore for the Lyric Opera Dublin, Zelika in The Veiled Prophet for the Wexford Festival and Tosca for Scottish Opera.

 Earlier in her career, Sinéad worked extensively with Christian Curnyn and the Classical Opera Company. She has also collaborated with Vladimir Jurowski, Martyn Brabbins, David Parry, John Fulljames, Ian Page, Jonathan Cohen, David Fielding, Annilese Miskimmon, Olivia Fuchs, Netia Jones, Neil Bartlett, Paulo Arrivabene and David Agler among others. Other opera appearances have included Garsington Opera as Anne Truelove (The Rake’s Progress), Grange Park as Giulietta (I capuleti e I montecchi) and Flavia (Eliogabalo), the Aldeburgh Festival as Anne Truelove. She has also sung numerous roles in Dublin, including Contessa, Donna Elvira, Alcina, Mimì, Musetta, Micaëla and Violetta Valéry.

Sinéad Campbell Wallace is a graduate of the Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama, the National Opera Studio and the Britten-Pears young artist programme.
