Three of the most inquisitive and artistically unique musicians of their generation join forces to form a stable trio that allows them to develop a rigorous work of approach to some of the key works written for one of the chamber ensembles par excellence, the piano trio.

Violinist Joel Bardolet studied at the ESMUC and did a master’s degree at the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Freiburg with French violinist Muriel Cantoreggi. In April 2012 he was admitted to the master programme specialising in soloists at the Hochschule für Musik Basel, with Rainer Schmidt. Afterwards, he made his debut as a soloist in Basel, with the Sinfonieorchester Basel. He has been coached by musicians such as Vera Martínez Mehner and Maurice Fuks.

Pau Codina began his violoncello studies when he was 5 years old at the Escola Municipal de Música de Manlleu. He has been taught by professors such as Ivan Chiffoleau and Daniel Grosgurin. In 2002 he was accepted as a student at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School and studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama; he graduated with honours in 2010. He later studied the Solo Artist Diploma at the Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo (Belgium). He has attended courses and masterclasses with professors such as Lluís Claret and Anner Bylsma. He made his debut as a soloist with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Orquestra de la RTVE, among others.

Marc Heredia began his piano studies when he was 3 years old and continued his training with Cecilio Tieles at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu. Later, between 2008 and 2012, he continued his training at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía. From 2012 to 2014 he studied a Master of Arts at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. He has performed at important venues such as L’Auditori de Barcelona and the Fundación Juan March in Madrid and has also played in events such as the cycle Solistas del Siglo XXI.
