After 15 years and more than 700 concerts on five continents, ZA! prepares his most multitudinous project: ZA! & the TransMegaCobla.
the new together is formed by the MegaCobla – a traditional cobla wind quartet born from a workshop with ZA! in 2018 and which brings equal parts experience and experimentation – and Tarta Relena, a young trans-folk duo that has revolutionized the Catalan scene.
Both formations join the multi-instrumentalism of the duo composed by Papa Dupau and Spazzfrica Ehd to portray their own vision of Mediterranean music passed through the filter of distortion (so current in cognitive, social and identity terms) and psychedelia (so inevitable in a increasingly accelerated and saturated reality). A retrofuturistic travesty of folk al free that explores the shores of our sea.
