Friday at the Emergents festival is dedicated to the ECHO Rising Stars: young talented people from many countries who have been selected from among performers at the principal concert halls of Europe. Friday at the Emergents festival is dedicated to the ECHO Rising Stars: young talented people from many countries who have been selected from among performers at the principal concert halls of Europe. Nora Fischer, nominated by the Het Concertgebouw of Amsterdam is a soprano noted for her wide-ranging repertoire: “A revelation, both versatile and virtuoso …” according to the BBC Music Magazine. The trumpet player, Tamás Pálfalvi, was nominated by Müpa of Budapest. He has performed in many of the world’s principal concert halls. According to the Bayerische Rundfunk, “Tamás and his instrument form a dream team in an adventure that also pulls in the listener. So fasten your seat belts – a rapid heartbeat is guaranteed”. Ellen Nisbeth, viola, who will close the concert, has been nominated by the Stockholms Konserthus. She has received great praise such as that given her by the Nordic Soloist Prize of which she was the winner, where she was described as having: “A stunning musicality and expressiveness that draws the listener to her. Ellen plays the viola with an infinity of nuances”.
