All its band members have a life outside the group, but Astrio has been their home for more than two decades. A home where, with good humour, energy and contagious groove go hand in hand with electronic music, jazz, experimental rock and psychedelia, musical styles and forms with which they create the soundtracks of imaginary lives. They have never stopped making music, although it has been eight years since the trio last released a new album. The eclecticism of Santi Careta, Arecio Smith and Santi Serratosa takes them to very different audiences and venues. Chameleons of sound, Astrio’s music is an invitation to be a little transgressive.
