Euskal Barrokensemble, a prestigious formation headed by Enrike Solinís, presents a new journey, recorded by Alia Vox, which seeks to share the admiration that Manuel de Falla felt for cante flamenco.Euskal Barrokensemble, a prestigious formation headed by Enrike Solinís, presents a new journey, recorded by Alia Vox, which seeks to share the admiration that Manuel de Falla felt for cante flamenco with an inherently pure instrumentation that the Gaditanian composer endeavoured to emulate. Also included will be pieces by composers as diverse as Gaspar Sanz, Joaquín Rodrigo and Antonio de Santa Cruz. This is a programme that looks to revisit the fountains from which Falla, inspired by Pedrell’s tutelage, drank to compose one of his most magical works: El amor brujo.
