Programme
Recorder and harpsichord, together in a concert seeking to foster inter-generational dialogue from contrasting centuries: 20th century classics (Jordi Cervelló) and fiercely modern composers (Marc Migó) are coupled with highly traditional German Baroque (Johann Sebastian Bach) and eighteenth-century Catalan music, featuring the work of brothers Joan Baptista and Josep Pla i Agustí, plus a piece by the extraordinary Father Antonio Soler, the composer from Olot, who died in the monastery of El Escorial as a monk of the Order of St. Jerome.
