Program

Valencian director Pablo Rus Broseta ‎will be opening the door to the young talents who will be the stars of this year’s “Emergents” ‎concert. The main work is Brahms’s Double Concerto for violin and cello, a unique piece in its ‎genre that demands maximum rapport between the two musicians and which, despite being ‎premiered by the highly renowned Joseph Joachim, did not immediately win over audiences. ‎With time, however, it has won the acclaim it deserves and is now considered one of the ‎essential works of the symphonic concerto repertoire.‎
