Program
The Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC) is giving its seventh beach concert, which is open to all. After a three-year break, the Orchestra will again be performing on the beach, where everyone can enjoy the sea breeze while they listen to symphonic music.
Led by its principal conductor, Ludovic Morlot, the OBC will perform a programme of popular music specially chosen for the occasion. It will include Antonín Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances, The Moldau by Bedřich Smetana, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol, the “Farandole” from L’Arlésienne by Georges Bizet and the sardana Empúries by Eduard Toldrà.
