With a commitment to experimentation and a striking artistic freedom, Carles Viarnès seeks to heighten listeners’ emotions and awareness of our own consciousness while deepening our sense of contemplation.

Viarnès fuses piano with the “hyper-organ” (a pipe organ enhanced by MIDI technology), as well as sequencers, synthesizers, and an array of additional elements to create a unique aesthetic experience that carves out a refuge from the relentless fatigue of the world.

Straddling the lines between minimalism, contemporary music, and electronic textures, this new project unfolds as an intricate, immersive soundscape—striking and yet tender. As both sanctuary and compass, Viarnès’ compositions inspire us to face the vast abyss of an unknown future.
