Programme
The Fight Against Infections Foundation and the Metalquimia Foundation promote the solidarity concert “Christmas for a new life”. We open a new horizon for Alzheimer’s and aging” to combat this disease.
The concert will offer a journey around the world through the most emotional Christmas tunes of all time. The Cobla i Corda de Catalunya Symphony will have the collaboration of soloists Elena Gadel, Miki Núñez, Beth, Mariona Escoda, La Pau and Joan Garrido, in addition to the Puig-reig Polyphonic Choir. Together, they will perform a selection of great Christmas songs from all times and from all origins, adapted to the sound of the Symphony of Cobla and Corda de Catalunya, with pieces ranging from the medieval music of Greensleeves to the well-known pieces by Ed Sheeran, Elton John or Mariah Carey. It will also feature a commissioned piece, composed by singer Beth Rodergas and Adrià Barbosa.
