Programme
The Great Night of the Spanish Guitar brings the very heart of Spain to the stage. With music inspired by tradition and lyrical melodies, the guitar's bright tone and rhythmic energy capture the sounds and feel of Spain like no other instrument can.
The star work of the program is the Concert d'Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, the fetish work of the guitarist Rolando Saad, who has performed it for more than two million 'spectators and on more than 900 occasions in the main halls of Europe and with prestigious orchestras, among them the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London.
Falla's Amor Brujo and Bizet's Carmen for guitar and orchestra complete this wonderful and magical Spanish night.
