Programme
La Gata Perduda is the vindication of a neighborhood that is shown as a mosaic of cultures where everyone has a place except speculation, gentrification and caciquism. El Cor Canta re-releases the work in suite format where the Raval becomes a physical space and a concept: all over Catalonia there are ravals where people live, work and associate to fight against abuses.
El Poble links the texts of the poet from Roda de Ter with the spirit of La Gata Perduda, where the people are the protagonists in their day-to-day persistence and struggle.
About the Passeig musical per la C-17 Arnau Tordera says: “the C-17 is the road that connects my town, Tona, and the town of Martí i Pol, with Barcelona and the Raval. A work conceived as a great musical entertainment halfway between a programmatic piece and a traditional solo concert.”
