Fundació Conservatori Liceu presents its ensemble Liceu Jazz Grup as part of the Barcelona Emergents festival. The ensemble, which will be joined by the saxophonist Bill McHenry, is based on the basic structure of jazz bands and was created with the aim of bringing together the conservatory’s best students and giving them the opportunity to show off their talents in front of an audience.An example of the Liceu Conservatory’s commitment to excellence can be seen in the opportunities to perform on Barcelona’s music scene that it gives its students and alumni, as well as in the number of musicians emerging from its classrooms who are already moving in national and international professional circles.
