The bcn216 ensemble, conducted by leading English conductor Clement Power, presents a concert of works for large instrumental format by Hèctor Parra: Caressant l’horizon, a translation into sound of the gravitational waves that deform time and space, Moins qu’un souffle, for solo flute and large ensemble, and Quasikristall, for chamber orchestra and electronic instruments. Powerful reflections on human fragility through representations in sound of different theories in modern physics.
