Tickets for this concert will be free and will be available from June 21 at 9 a.m. They will be available via online download and at the box office with a limit of two tickets per person. Capacity is limited.
As at the end of every season for the last four years, the Barcelona Symphonic Band is staging a Conducting Course, directed by principal conductor José R. Pascual-Vilaplana. The main aim is to provide a scheme for training young conductors, giving them a grounding in the wind orchestra repertoire, deepening their knowledge of orchestration and different sound features and, ultimately, giving them the opportunity to conduct a symphonic band.
The programme features the works rehearsed during the course, with the students taking the helm of the Barcelona Symphonic Band.
