Jordi Savall will conduct the concert “Les Éléments: Tempêtes, Orages & Fêtes Marines” as a tribute to the planet Earth, with works by some of the great musicians of the 18th century: Marin Marais, Jean-Féry Rebel, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann and Jean-Philippe Rameau.The Enlightenment was a period of reconciliation between
scientific thinking and nature. Les Éléments: Tempêtes, Orages & Fêtes Marines is a concert paying tribute to the planet Earth with works from some of the great eighteenth- century composers – Marin Marais, Jean-Féry Rebel,
Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann and Jean-Philippe
Rameau – dedicated to the celebration of nature and the
elements, played on period instruments by the musicians
of Le Concert des Nations.
