The BarnaSants and Tradicionàrius festivals, in association with L’Auditori host the launch of “FOK”, the latest album from Kepa Junkera.In this concert, Junkera shares the bill with the Amics de FOK: Manu Sabaté, Iu Boixader, Cisco Cardona, Arnau Obiols, Ballaveu and Txek and other guest artists.
An opportunity to hear deeply emotional and particular music from the Catalan Countries which has left an impression on the artist. Much of the music shares many similarities with that from Basque culture as well other music cherished by the artist from other areas of Spain. The album “FOK” is an expression of creative freedom which combines sounds he has heard, with his own personal interpretations. He has given plenty of space for improvisation and for the particular of essence of each song to be developed from one moment to the next.
