Program
The sessions for this concert will be more relaxed.
Rules regarding noise and movement in the concert hall will be more relaxed than usual, and some minor adjustments may also be made to the lighting, sound, etc. for the wellbeing of all kinds of public. These types of sessions are for individuals and families who prefer a more casual atmosphere, thereby reducing anxiety levels and making the experience better for everyone (e.g. families with small children, people with Alzheimer’s, people with autism, etc.).
With Phileas Fogg and his loyal valet, Jean Passepartout, from Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne, we will discover exotic countries through the descriptive music of Otto M. Schwarz. Edvard Grieg’s famous incidental music written for the play Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen captures the wonderful image of daybreak in the Moroccan desert. Franco Cesarini’s authentic American rhythms evoke the escapades of Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer’s inseparable friend, and Jim the slave, as they seek freedom floating down the winding Mississippi. And Mowgli and his friends bring us countless stories in music from The Jungle Book, as Walt Disney’s team brought them to the big screen. A special, exciting, unforgettable concert. Don’t miss it!
