Program
The Mediterranean is the cradle of rhythms and sounds that are part of an idiosyncratic vital ecosystem. From Greece to Catalonia, passing through Sardinia and the Valencian lands, music bathes us in a festive light that turns into a clamour of joy. Today we will hear a pasodoble with sardana rhythms, three Greek dances that show us three moments of festivity, a bright frenetic Sardinian dance, winds laden with Catalan folk echoes, the colours of an ancient festival, the rhythm of the sardanes of a cult composer or a sentimental arrangement that has now become a universal melody.
