Program
The Latvian Radio Choir performs, under the baton of Sigvards Klava, the world premiere of Llum (Light), a concert work for mixed a cappella choir by Ramon Humet, guest composer at L’Auditori. In an aesthetic purification process marked by a progressive orientation of creation as a spiritual act, Humet presents a work of meditation, of pilgrimage to the inner silence. The texts which accompany each of the seven stages of the work were written by Vicenç Santamaria i Ollé, visual artist and monk at the monastery of Montserrat (Catalonia) and evoke different states of the soul which Humet explores musically through recollection and introspection.
