The National Youth Choir of Catalonia (CJNC) is an initiative of the Catalan Choir Movement and Youth Choirs of Catalonia. Its aim is to offer the country’s young talents a training and artistic experience and to be an ambassador for Catalan choral excellence. The CJNC is made up of twenty-four singers aged between 18 and 28, who perform under the direction of renowned national and international conductors at annual events.

DOWNLOAD THE LYRICS HEREThis year, the CJNC will be under the baton of Lluís Vilamajó, a member, among other groups, of the La Capella Reial de Catalunya and Hespèrion XXI. Vilamajó will lead the band through the works of great names of the German vocal tradition, such as Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. The National Youth Choir of Catalonia offers us a fantastic opportunity to enjoy fresh versions of great choral music classics.
