Cold food is hard to swallow. Nico Roig knows this and, from his own private pantry, he cooks up and spices songs with universal sounds and rhythms to offer them to diners with a new warmth. Batucadas, habaneras, rancheras, fados and pop music all burn in the heart. The multiple musical traditions of Esto Frío no Vale Nada are a conga that moves from the Mediterranean to Brazil and ascends the Andes.
