‎Inferno is the first solo album by the acclaimed Robert ‎Forster, singer and guitarist with the legendary Australian band The Go-‎Betweens.‎
Forster only heads into the studio when he feels he has songs that he totally believes in, and ‎this is his first album in four years and the second in the last eleven. The album was made in ‎Berlin during the summer of 2018, the hottest that Germany had experienced in decades, ‎and was produced by the celebrated Victor Van Vugt (Trailer Park, by Beth Orton, and Stories ‎from the City, Stories from the Sea, by PJ Harvey), who recorded his debut album in 1990.‎
The launch of Inferno has seen Robert Forster embark on a world presentation tour, calling at ‎L’Auditori in November as part of the Sit Back programme. ‎
This is an unmissable event where we can see one of the musicians who most contributed to ‎sowing the seeds of what would become known in the eighties as indie pop.‎
