Program
Roger Padullés and Francisco Poyato help us explore one of the lesser-known aspects of Juli Garreta’s music: lyrical song. The great Sardana symphonist cultivated this genre extensively during the early years of his artistic career, between 1900 and 1907 approximately.

Garreta’s songs won awards and recognition and were performed by established singers, but quickly disappeared from the repertoire and were not even recorded, barring a few exceptions. Today’s concert will bring them back to life.
