Programme
‘I have nothing left in the world but poetry’, Miró wrote in the early 1940s, during the creation of his Constellations, a suite of 23 paintings created in a small paper album between 1940 and 1941, during his escape from Nazi Germany, first in Normandy and then in Majorca.
He cleaned the brushes he used in each painting on the next sheet, thus creating the background and the visual landscape of the following piece. A visual space in which Miró dissolved reality. This cycle serves as the basis for the poetic-musical work, commissioned by L’Auditori, by composer Héctor Parra and poet Arnau Pons, for which they received the Alícia Prize in 2022.
