Program

A time and “tradifiction” fusion project based on the popular culture of the Terres de l’Ebre.More than one hundred years ago a new music and dance trend started in Vienna; it spread through Europe and came to the town of Tortosa.
The older generation put their heads in their hands watching how the waltzes and slow dances began to replace the old rhythms and traditions. A new era was dawning and this brought with it a new way to move and feel.
“A vore” is a music and dance project based on traditional works and expression, rhythms, dances, and words from the regions of Baix Ebre-Montsià and Baix Maestrat as they converse with music by Astrio and performance dance from Sònia Gómez.
