Following the journey through evangelical churches initiated in previous editions of Trànsits, the Evangelical Church of Philadelphia in Sant Adrià de Besòs holds a service at the Mina Temple. Founded in the mid-20th century by a group of dedicated believers, this church has become an important meeting point within the local community, offering both religious services and social activities.
The Philadelphia Church has its roots in the Pentecostal movement, which originated in France in 1921 and quickly spread within the Roma community in Spain. With its first church established in Lleida in 1965, this congregation maintains a strong connection with Roma families and is the largest Roma Evangelical community in Spain.
This event is open to everyone, providing a gathering space for both believers and those interested in learning more about this Pentecostal Christian tradition, where music—especially praise and worship singing—plays a prominent role.
Trànsits is organized by the Museum of Music and the Office of Religious Affairs.
